At the 2024 edition of the Salon du Chocolat de Paris, the public was amazed by a unique and poetic creation: a dress made of chocolate, the result of a collaboration with the 20°Nord 20°Sud chocolate factory.

This daring work was worn by boxer Sarah Ourahmoune, who embodied the goddess of fortune and abundance with strength and grace.

The dress is not just a tribute to opulence and history, it carries a profound message. We imagined a creation that symbolises prosperity and happiness, universal values. To mark this commitment, Sarah Ourahmoune, on stage, carried a cornucopia, an ancient emblem of fertility and prosperity, filled with messages. During the performance, she distributed them, creating a moment of sharing and communion with the audience.

Aesthetically, the dress pays homage to the elegance of Greco-Roman divinities, timeless symbols of abundance and fortune. We chose to include iconic motifs from this era: sculpted columns, evoking the architectural grandeur of ancient temples, draperies reminiscent of Roman togas, and acanthus leaf ornaments, popular decorative emblems in classical art and architecture. These details, finely crafted in chocolate, give the dress a majestic elegance while underlining the technical complexity of its creation.

What makes this dress so special is that it is made entirely from recycled chocolate, to be melted down and reused. Even the structure of the dress was made from materials originally destined for the scrap heap. It’s a conscious choice: to transform what was destined to disappear into a powerful work of art.
